Community Service Director : Homero López, Jr. , Tulane University

    BIO:

I was born in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. However, due to my mother
being a migrant worker for most of my childhood, I moved around and was raised
all throughout the Mid-West. Gaining first-hand observations of how badly
migrant workers, and immigrants in general, were treated was instrumental in
my decision to become a lawyer and enter the public interest/social justice
arena. That's also a major reason why I decided to attend Tulane Law School.
Post-Katrina there's a major need for social justice in the Gulf Coast and the
changing demographics make it more so. If you have any ideas of what
community service events NLLSA can get involved in do not hesitate to contact
    me.
