| 2009 NLLSA CONFERENCE LA FUERZA DEL CAMBIO, LA ESPERANZA DEL FUTURO |

| NLLSA National Latino/a Law Student Association |
Greetings! The National Latino Law Student Association (NLLSA) is pleased to announce our 13th Annual National Latina/o Law Student Conference, which will be held September 25-27th, 2009, in Chicago, Illinois. This year, we are excited to have DePaul University’s Latino Law Student Association chosen to be our host for this annual prestigious event! As in years past, this weekend-long conference will bring together 600-800 law students, professors, practitioners, judges, speakers, and prominent community members from all regions of the country. The weekend will be filled with workshops, panel discussions, plenary sessions, and cultural festivities surrounding topics such as leadership, community service, programming, and, of course, the law. The theme of our Conference, “LA FUERZA DEL CAMBIO, LA ESPERANZA DEL FUTURO,” (The Power of Change, the Hope of the Future) is a theme that allows us to integrate various types of diversity into our Conference: diversity in thought, political ideals, culture, and values. For example, one of our major panel discussions will address coalition-building among various ethnic and non-ethnic groups. Because the National Conference has never been held in Chicago, we are excited about the opportunity to showcase the city and our organization not only to regional but also to national firms and companies. We would like to invite you to be a part of the 13th Annual National Latina/o Law Student Conference to ensure its success and visibility. This year, NLLSA is also pleased to list multiple levels of sponsorship opportunities for the 13th Annual National Latina/o Law Student Conference as well as for the National Organization. These sponsorship opportunities will allow your organization to publicly showcase to a national audience, both at the conference as well as to our members (through our website & quarterly newsletter) your commitment to diversity. This information can be downloaded here. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to call or email me. We look forward to seeing you in Chicago! Sincerely, David A. Perez, Chairman National Latina/o Law Student Association
