Current Events

• SPRING ENCUENTRO The Thurgood Marshall Legal Society (UT Law's local BLSA chapter), Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association, Texas Hispanic Journal of Law & Policy, and the University of Texas Chapter of the National Black Law Journal at the University of Texas School of Law have come together to co-host a Spring Symposium which will be held on February 18, 2010 at The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, TX. The theme of the Symposium is “Pursuing Justice through Legal Innovation."

• The University of Denver LLSA chapter is currently establishing the University of Denver Social Justice and Critical Race Theory Journal.
  

• CU LLSA students are volunteering at citizenship drives
  where they help immigrants fill out their final paperwork to
  become US citizens.  Students volunteer to help ensure the paperwork is filled out completely and correctly.

• HLSA at South Texas College of Law is participating in an AIDS Walk on March 14th in Houston with other minority organizations from from STCL.
