Hindira E. Navarro was born and raised in Wapato, WA, which is located in the Lower Yakima Valley in Eastern Washington. She received her B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Latin American Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 2004 and will receive a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in May 2011. While at the University of Washington, Hindira became a founding member of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated’s Gamma Omicron Chapter, Lambda Theta Alpha is an organization based on sisterhood and caters to the needs of Latinas and the universal woman. Hindira’s affiliations at Seattle University School of Law include the Latino Law Students Association. As a first year, Hindira is looking forward to exploring her options for this coming summer and is considering traveling abroad and continuing taking classes or staying in Seattle, WA to gain experience at a local firm. |
