The 2012 National Latina/o Law Student Association's Annual Conference will be held October 4 - 6 in Los Angeles, CA!

This year, the 16th Annual National Latina/o Law Student Conference, "Movimiento," will be held in the Pacific Region for the first time since 2003 at UCLA Law School.

The 2012 Conference theme, “Movimiento, The Movements of Latinos in Education and Advocacy,” will challenge and encurage students from around the country to consider the historical struggles and the victories within the formal education system as well as the possibilities for using our personal education to advocate for great change in curent and future movements.  This Conference will focus on various historical topics including desegregation, affirmative action, and the Chicano Movement.  It will also highlight the current movement in support of the D.R.E.A.M. Act and immigration reform.  The Conference will be an opportunity to unite various sectors of the legal profession to understand and tackle these urgent issues.
