In April 2011, NLLSA launched a partnership with GL Advisor, a unique service designed to help law students and recent graduates manage their student loan debt and improve their financial net worth.

In February 2011, NLLSA collaborated with the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) and the Hispanic National Bar Association's Law Student Division on Lobby Day, which was held in Washington, D.C.
