On July 12, 2011, students from Stanford, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Hastings, DePaul University (Chicago, IL) and the University of Washington gathered for tapas and conversation in San Francisco, CA.  NLLSA's Pacific Regional Director, Frankie Guzman, and NLLSA's Secretary, Maggie Buitrago, organized the event on the part of the National Board.  Mr. Guzman introduced NLLSA to the attendees and discussed NLLSA's current projects, services, and policy initiative as well as its social channels so students could become more involved with the organization.  He also encouraged attendees to spread the word about the 2011 Annual Conference, which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
